The farm itself is a getaway destination like no other. Called Endless Vineyards Boutique Lodge, eight old Dutch-style cottages are located on this sprawling, untouched estate flanked by a rich farm of grapevines.
The accommodation was originally farm worker’s houses, which were refurbished and tastefully decorated to a country theme – homey without being kitsch. A warm, cosy, farm cottage look and feel.
All are incredibly well equipped, and guests have the option to self-cater, if they didn’t want to take meals in the on-site restaurant. With a full kitchen that includes a microwave, kettle, fridge, and other appliances and amenities, you don’t have to bring anything along.
Each cottage also has a stoep, which overlooks the vineyards and the mountain, so early morning coffee or late afternoon wine, from the estate of course, is encouraged. Take in the picturesque vista, while letting the natural surroundings heighten every one of your senses.
Endless Vineyards is a family-orientated holiday destination, but also caters to the corporate market – there’s a conference room on site, a chapel for weddings and an antique boardroom. All this is housed in Old Dutch buildings that’s been renovated but retaining the original architecture. It’s reminiscent of the old era but with modern spins and plenty of open space and antique furniture.
